Dunmore, PA – There will be temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 80 and Interstate 81 in Luzerne County the week of April 6, 2026, in the following locations:
- Interstate 81 northbound and southbound between Exit 145 (West Hazleton) and Exit 151 (Bloomsburg/Stroudsburg/Interstate 80) on Monday, April 6, 2026, through Friday, April 10, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM nightly for paving, placement of temporary barriers, and median crossover construction.
- Interstate 81/Interstate 80 interchange, Exit 151 (Bloomsburg/Stroudsburg) on Monday, April 6, 2026, through Friday, April 10, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM nightly for temporary barrier placement and line painting.
- Interstate 80 eastbound between Exit 262 (Hazleton/Mountaintop) and Exit 273 (White Haven/Freeland) on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, and Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM for pothole patching.
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
