    Temporary Lane Closure on Interstate 81 Northbound in Luzerne County

    March 23, 2026

    Dunmore, PA – There will be a temporary lane closure on Interstate 81 northbound in Luzerne County between Exit 145 (West Hazleton) and Exit 151 (Stroudsburg/Bloomsburg) on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, through Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily for bridge deck repairs, weather permitting.

    When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
