    Road Closure and Detour in Dallas Township, Luzerne County

    April 28, 2026

    Dunmore, PA – A road closure and detour will be in place on Country Club Road (Route 1016) in Dallas Township, Luzerne County beginning on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, and continuing for an estimated two weeks for pipe culvert repair. The detour is as follows:

    ·       From the project on Country Club Road, drivers will detour onto Route 415, follow Route 415 onto 42nd Street (Route 1018), continue on 42nd Street to Lake Street, and follow Lake Street back to Country Club Road.

    When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
