PennDOT to Close the Linden Street (Route 3020) Bridge in Scranton, Lackawanna County

Dunmore, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will close the Linden Street Bridge, located between 7th Avenue and Mifflin Street over the Lackawanna Railroad Authority and Lackawanna River in Scranton, beginning Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The bridge will remain closed through the end of the year for rehabilitation. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the project. A detour using 7th Avenue and Lackawanna Avenue will be in place.
