PennDOT Announces Online Plans Display for the Route 3012 over Keyser Creek Bridge Project in Taylor Borough, Lackawanna County

Dunmore, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to a plans display regarding the proposed Route 3012, Section D50 bridge replacement project. This plans display will be held online.

The purpose of this project is to provide a sustainable crossing over Keyser Creek that addresses structural and hydraulic deficiencies of the existing structure, and provides continued access to residents, businesses, and emergency vehicles.

Oak Street improvements will include the proposed replacement of the existing two 5-foot diameter precast concrete pipes under fill that carry Oak Street over Keyser Creek with a new precast concrete box culvert. Approach roadway work will be minimal; approximately 130 feet on both approaches. Guide rail will be updated within the project limits and traffic will be maintained along with roadway via staged construction.

It is estimated that construction will begin in the winter 2028 with completion in the Fall 2028.

The plans display will be held online and will be available from March 2, 2026, to April 2, 2026. Online information, including detailed project information and comment form can be found by visiting the following PennDOT District 4-0 website: Route 3012 (Oak Street) over Keyser Creek Bridge Project | Department of Transportation | Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
