Dunmore, PA – There will be overnight lane restrictions on Interstate 81 northbound between Exit 145 (West Hazleton) and Exit 151 (Bloomsburg/Stroudsburg) beginning Tuesday, April 14, 2026, through Friday, April 17, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM nightly as crews place concrete barriers for a long-term lane shift, weather permitting. Lane restrictions will not be in place during daylight hours.
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
