    Lane Restrictions on Interstate 81 Northbound and Southbound in Lackawanna County

    Dunmore, PA – Lane restrictions and slow moving trucks on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound in Lackawanna County as follows:

    • Monday, May 4 through Friday, May 8, morning through night, there will be slow moving trucks in the left lane of Interstate 81 northbound from the Biden Expressway (Exit 185) in Scranton to Drinker Street (Exit 186) in Dunmore.
    •  Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7,  from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, there will be milling and paving of rumble strips between Interstate 84 westbound to the Biden Expressway (Exit 185) on Interstate 81 southbound.

    Drivers can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
