Dunmore, PA – Interstate 81 northbound is down to one lane starting at the Biden Expressway in Scranton to due to an overhead sign strike by a tractor-trailer. The estimated time of reopening is this evening. Drivers are encouraged to take another route to their destination.
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point.
