Water Main Project Starts Next Week on Bloom Road in Mahoning Township, Montour County

Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that a water main project will begin this Sunday on Bloom Road (Route 2008) in Mahoning Township, Montour County.

Between Sunday, May 3 and Thursday, May 7, the contractor, G&M Crawford, will install a water main along Bloom Road between Academy Avenue and Glenbrook Street. Drivers can expect single lane conditions between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Work includes excavation, installation of the water main, backfill, patching, and resurfacing.

G&M Crawford is the contractor for this water main installation project for Veolia Water. Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
