    9:15 PM UPDATE (ROAD OPEN) Low Hanging Wires Closes a Portion of Route 405 in Delaware Township, Northumberland County

    9:15 PM UPDATE: Route 405 is open in Delaware Township, Northumberland County. 

    Montoursville, PA – Route 405 is closed between Route 44 in Dewart and West Brimmer Avenue (Route 1011) in Watsontown Borough, Northumberland County, due to low hanging wires near the Warrior Run Fire Department.

    A detour using West Brimmer Avenue, Route 15 and Route 44 is in place.

    Travelers can check conditions on major roads by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
