Montoursville, PA – Driver are advised that a roadway maintenance project is planned next week on Interstate 80 in both directions between the Montour County line and the Luzerne County line.
On Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be completing roadway patching between mile marker 228, located approximately four miles west of Exit 232 (Buckhorn/Route 42) and mile marker 246, located just east of the Columbia County Rest Area . Drivers can expect alternating lane restrictions with flagging between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.
Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
