Reminder: Night Work Begins Next Week on Route 405 in Point Township, Northumberland County

Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that a roadway resurfacing, and drainage improvement project will resume Sunday on Route 405 in Point Township, Northumberland County.

Starting on Sunday, March 1, 2026, the contractor, New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. Inc., will begin drainage improvement work on Route 405 approximately 0.13 mile north of Sports Zone Drive. Drivers can expect single lane conditions with flagging Sundays through Thursdays between the hours of 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM.  

New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co, Inc. is the prime contractor for this $2.8 million roadway resurfacing and drainage improvement project. Work includes milling and resurfacing of 3.5 miles of Route 405 between Eighth Street and Ferry Road in Point Township, storm water drainage improvements, guide rail upgrades, line painting, and sign replacement. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed in June 2026.
