Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised of a roadway maintenance project is planned next week on Route 11 and Old Trail (Route 1023) in Chapman, Union, Penn and Monroe townships and Shamokin Dam Borough in Snyder County and Union Township in Union County.
Between Monday, April 13 and Friday, April 17, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be sweeping the shoulders, bike routes, and bridges along the roadways. This work is a moving operation. Drivers can expect lane restrictions in the work zones during daylight hours.
Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
