    Litter Pickup Continues Along Certain Routes in Lycoming County Next Week

    Montoursville, PA – In an effort to improve our environment and clean up our local roadways, PennDOT maintenance crews in Lycoming County will pick up litter over the next week along the following roadways:

    • Interstate 180 between Route 220 in Williamsport and the Northumberland County line.
    • Route 15 between the Union and Tioga County lines.
    • Route 220 between Route 15 and the Clinton County line.

    Crews will be picking up litter along the above routes beginning Monday, March 23, 2026, to Friday, March 27, 2026, during daylight hours, weather permitting.

    There will be no impacts to traffic during litter cleanup activities. Drivers are reminded to slow down, drive with caution, be alert for stopped or slow-moving vehicles, and watch for workers near the roadway.

    Drivers can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
