Bridge Repair Project on Reservoir Hill Road Begins Next Week in Washington Township, Snyder County

Montoursville, PA – A bridge repair project is set to begin next week on Reservoir Hill Road (Route 2003) in Washington Township, Snyder County.

Beginning Monday, May 4, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will begin repairs to the bridge that carries Reservoir Hill Road over Susquehecka Creek, just south of the Freeburg Carnival Grounds.  

Work will take place each day between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting, and is expected to be completed on Friday, May 22. The roadway will be open during the project with a stop condition, although brief closures may occur for concrete deliveries.

Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution in the area.
