Montoursville, PA – A bridge rehabilitation project is set to begin on the bridge that carries Mill Road (Route 2001) over Roaring Creek in Roaring Creek Township, Columbia County.
Starting on Monday, April 6, Mill Road will be closed between Mill Grove Road (Route 2012) and Duke Street (Route 2007), while the contractor, Rylind Construction Company, begins mobilizing equipment and setting up detour signs in preparation for the project.
A detour using Mill Road/Ideal Park Road (Route 2001), Route 42, and Ringtown Mountain Road (Route 2010), and Mill Grove Road will be in place through October.
Rylind Construction Company is the prime contractor for this $852,707 bridge rehabilitation project. Work on the project includes removal and replacement of the bridge deck, application of a waterproofing layer, base and bridge repairs, miscellaneous construction, guide rail upgrade, and line painting.
