Bridge Maintenance Project Tomorrow on Route 61 in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County

Montoursville, PA – A bridge maintenance project will take place tomorrow on both the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge and the Green Bridge (near Zimmerman Motors Dodge/Jeep) on Route 61 in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County.

On Tuesday, April 14, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing bridge flushing and bridge inspections on both bridges. Drivers can expect single lane restrictions where work is taking place.

This project is expected to be completed in just one day, weather permitting. Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
