3:00 PM UPDATE: Route 225 is open in Jordan Township, Northumberland County.
Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that Route 225 is closed in both directions between Toad Valley Road and Urban Road (Route 3016) in Jordan Township, Northumberland County, due to a truck striking a bridge wall. The bridge carries Route 225 over Fiddlers Run.
The following detours for Route 225 are in place.
- Southbound traffic will use Urban Road, Jackson Township Road (Route 3013), and Klingerstown Road (Route 3018).
- Northbound traffic will use Mahantago Creek Road (Route 3024) and Route 147.
Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution. The bridge will remain closed until crews can inspect the bridge and assess the damage. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
