    3:00 PM Update (OPEN): A Portion of Mile Hill Road Closed Due to Fire in Upper Augusta Township, Northumberland County

    3:00 PM Update: Mile Hill Road is now open in Upper Augusta Township, Northumberland County.

    Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that a portion of Mile Hill Road (Route 4006) is closed between Mile Post Road (Route 4004) and Mount Pleasant Road in Upper Augusta Township, Northumberland County, due to fire department activity.

    A detour using Mile Post Road and Mount Pleasant Road is in place.

    The roadways are expected to be closed for several hours. Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.

    Drivers can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
