    9:30 AM Update (OPEN): Route 147 Closed Due to Tractor Trailer Fire in Northumberland County

    9:30 AM Update: Route 147 is now open in Northumberland County.

    Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 147 is closed between Brush Valley Road (Route 4018) in Upper Augusta Township and Hallowing Run Road (Route 4020) in Lower Augusta Township, Northumberland County, due to a tractor trailer fire.

    A detour using Brush Valley Road, Route 890, and Hallowing Run Road is in place.

    Motorists should be alert, slow down, and drive with caution in the area.

    Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
