    Route 4035 Water Dam Road Slide Repair Scheduled in Greene County

    June 30, 2026

    Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing the scheduled closure of Route 4035 (Water Dam Road) between Byard Road and Route 18 in Franklin Township, Greene County beginning Monday, July 6 at 7:00 AM.

    A posted detour will be in place until late August utilizing Route 18 (Browns Creek Road), and Route 4033 (Garner Run Road).

    Department Force Crews will perform slide repair work. 

    All work depends on weather and operational conditions. 

    Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.

    Travelers can check conditions on major roads by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
