Route 4031 Baker School Road Slide Repair Scheduled in Westmoreland County

Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing the scheduled closure of a portion of Route 4031 (Baker School Road) between Route 993 and Dirling Road in North Huntington Township, Westmoreland County beginning Wednesday, September 9.

A posted detour will be in place until late December utilizing Route 993, Route 130 and Route 4031 (Baker School Road).

During this closure, crews from Allison Park Contracting will perform slide repair work.

All work depends on weather and operational conditions. 

Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.

Allison Park Contracting will conduct slide repairs at this location as part of a larger slide-repair project in Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland counties. The scope of work includes repairing slides, drainage and roadway improvements, an infrastructure investment of $7.5 million.
