Route 18 Surface Improvement Project Begins in Greene County

Uniontown, PA— The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing single-lane restrictions on Route 18 between Golden Oaks Road and Brown Creeks Road in Freeport and Morris townships, Greene County beginning Tuesday, May 26, weather permitting.

Drivers can expect:

  • Single-lane restrictions
  • Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Work expected to continue through late June

Crews from Lindy Paving will perform milling, base repair, and painting as part of a $2.1 million surface improvement project in Greene County.

Drivers should exercise caution while traveling through work zones and remain alert for workers. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
