Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that a portion of Route 1027 (Mt. Pleasant Road) between Route 1044 (Prittstown Road) and Airport Road will be closed. In addition, McClure Road will be closed between Route 1027 (Mt. Pleasant Road) and Route 119 (Memorial Boulevard) in Upper Tyrone and Bullskin townships, Fayette County, beginning Monday, March 30.
Closures are expected to remain in place through the end of April. Traffic will be detoured using Route 119, Route 819 and Route 1042 (Crossroads Road).
Crews from Plum Contracting will be reconstructing the interchange—an infrastructure investment of $53.9 million. Project information is available on PennDOT’s District 12 website under the Projects Near You and select Route 119 McClure/Kingview Interchange Project. Construction is anticipated to last through 2028, pending weather and operational conditions.
