Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that portions of the following state roads are closed due to downed trees, downed trees in wires, and downed utilities:
Washington County
- Route 2023 (Grange Road/Van Voorhis Hazelkirk Road/Bentleyville Road) in West Pike Run Township
- Between Scenic Drive and California Drive
- Route 2032 Deer Run Lane in West Pike Run Township
- Between Scenic Drive and South Ridge Road
- Route 2038 (Coal Center Road/South California Drive/South Ridge Road/Clover Hill Road) in Bentleyville Borough
- Between Coal Center Road, Robison Dairy Road and Deems Park Road
- Route 2055 (Black Dog Hollow Road) in East Bethlehem Township
- Between Jennings Lane and Main Street
- Route 2069 (Woodland Road) in West Pike Run Township
- Between Scenic Drive and South California Drive, Woodland Road
Westmoreland County
- Route 3002 (Pittsburgh Street/Chaintown Road/Chestnut Street) in East Huntington Township
- Between Creek Road and Catalina Farm Road, Kooser Road
As issues are addressed, the roadway will be reopened.
Drivers are reminded to:
- Reduce speed and remain alert for debris on the roadway.
- Avoid driving through areas where trees, limbs, or wires are down.
- Allow extra time for travel.
- Never approach or drive over downed utility lines.
