Bridge Inspections Scheduled Next Week in Washington and Westmoreland Counties

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing scheduled restrictions on Interstate 70 in Washington County and Route 30 in Westmoreland County next week for bridge inspections. 

Single-lane restrictions:

Interstate 70 in both directions at Exit 36 (Lover) in Fallowfield Township, Washington County

  • Tuesday, May 26, from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

Shoulder restrictions:

Route 30 in both directions between Route 3103 (Swede hill Road) and Route 3026 (Tollgate Road) in the City of Greensburg, Westmoreland County

  • Wednesday, May 27, from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

PennDOT District 12 staff will perform the inspection work on the structures over Interstate 70 and Route 30. All work is dependent on weather and operational conditions.

Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
