    I-376 Parkway East Lane Restrictions Begin Friday in Pittsburgh

    Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing I-376 (Parkway East) bridge inspection activities in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will begin Friday, September 8 weather permitting.

    Beginning Friday, crews from NBIS will conduct bridge inspection work on the I-376 bridge over Second Avenue as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. to noon on weekends through Saturday, September 16. Single-lane restrictions will occur on I-376 in each direction near the Forbes Avenue/Oakland exit (Exit 72A).

    Please use caution in the area.

    Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.

    511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
