    Route 910 Repair Work Continues this Weekend in Richland Township

    Route 910 (Gibsonia Road) to close to traffic Saturday.

    Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing repair work on Route 910 (Gibsonia Road) in Richland Township, Allegheny County will occur this weekend, Friday, August 14 through Monday morning, August 17 weather permitting.

    Milling and paving operations on Route 910 between Route 8 and Middle Road will require the following restrictions according to the schedule below:

    8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Friday

    • Single-lane alternating traffic restrictions controlled by flaggers

    6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday

    • Full closure and detour

    6:00 PM Saturday to 5:00 AM Monday morning

    • Single-lane alternating traffic restrictions controlled by flaggers as needed

    If work is completed sooner, restrictions may not occur Sunday-Monday, August 16-17.

    West of the Closure

    • From Route 910, take Route 8 southbound
    • Turn left onto Wildwood Road Extension
    • Turn left onto Middle Road
    • Follow Middle Road back to Route 910
    • End detour

    East of the Closure

    • Same detour in the opposite direction

    The prime contractor is A. Folino Construction on this $10.4 million group paving project.

    Please allow extra time and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
