    Route 910 Repair Work Begins Monday in Richland Township

    A portion of Route 910 to close to traffic around-the-clock.

    Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing road repair work on Route 910 (Gibsonia Road) in Richland Township, Allegheny County will begin Monday, July 27 weather permitting.

    Beginning at approximately 6:00 AM Monday, Route 910 (Gibsonia Road) will close to traffic between Allison Road and Lori Road around-the-clock through 7:00 PM Friday, July 31. This closure will be in place to allow crews to conduct base repair operations. Traffic will be detoured.

    • Head westbound on Route 910 to William Penn Highway (Route 8)
    • Turn left onto William Penn Highway (Route 8)
    • Turn left onto Wildwood Road Extension (Route 4070)
    • Turn left onto Middle Road
    • Continue to Route 910
    • End detour

    East of the closure

    • Same detour in the opposite direction

    The prime contractor is A. Folino Construction on this $10.4 million group paving project and includes both sections of Route 910. Work will be coordinated throughout the corridor.

    Please allow extra time and use caution when traveling through the work zone.

    Travelers can check conditions on major roads by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
