Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing road improvement work on Hilltop Road (Route 3052) in Heidelberg Borough and Collier Township, Allegheny County will continue Monday, October 12 weather permitting.
Single-lane alternating traffic restrictions controlled by flaggers will occur on Hilltop Road between Washington Pike and Thomas Run and Oakdale Road from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM weekdays through early spring 2027.
The prime contractor is Mele & Mele & Sons, Inc. on this $9.7 million group paving project. Improvement work includes milling and paving, drainage upgrades, shoulder repairs, guide rail updates, pavement markings, and other various construction related activities.
