    Route 2040 Lebanon Church Road Instersection Reconstruction Work to begin Wednesday in Pleasant Hills

    The Ott Drive intersection with Lebanon Church Road will close to traffic.

    Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing a road closure at the intersection of Lebanon Church Road (Route 2040) and Ott Drive in Pleasant Hills Borough, Allegheny County will begin Wednesday, September 2 weather permitting. 

    To accommodate intersection reconstruction work, Ott Drive will close to traffic at the intersection with Lebanon Church Road at 7:00 AM Wednesday and remain closed continuously through 5:00 PM Friday, September 4. Ott Drive traffic to and from Lebanon Church Road will be detoured. Lebanon Church Road will remain open.

    Work on this $28.16 million betterment project includes widening, milling and paving, concrete patching, drainage improvements, signal upgrades, and guide rail updates will occur between Broughton Road in South Park Township and Ceco Drive in West Mifflin Borough. The project will occur in phases and require short-term and long-term lane closures, weekend lane restrictions, and a short-term ramp detour at the Route 51 interchange. The overall project is anticipated to be completed in the summer of 2027.

    Please use caution if traveling on this roadway. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
