Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing the closure of Washington Road (Route 2039) in North Versailles Township, Allegheny County will begin Tuesday, May 5 weather permitting.
Slide remediation work will begin at 7:00 AM Tuesday morning requiring an around-the-clock roadway closure of a portion of Washington Road between Elm Street and Route 148 (Fifth Avenue) through Mid-May. Through traffic will be detoured via Broadway Street Extension and Congress Street.
PennDOT crews will conduct slide remediation work and drainage improvements.
