Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing overnight joint and crack sealing work on various roads in Allegheny County will begin Monday, October 12 weather permitting.
To accommodate joint and crack sealing work, mobile single-lane restrictions will occur from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM weeknights, as needed, through mid-November in the following locations:
I-279
- All ramps at East Street
- All ramps at the Perrysville Avenue interchange
- All ramps at Hazlett Street
I-579
- Various locations between the Veterans Bridge and the Boulevard of the Allies in the City of Pittsburgh
I-376 (Parkway West)
- All ramps at the Green Tree interchange in the Municipality of Green Tree
- All ramps at the west Route 22/Route 30/Weirton interchange in Robinson Township
- All ramps at the Rosslyn Farms interchange in Rosslyn Farms Borough
- All ramps at Parkway Center in the City of Pittsburgh
I-376 (Parkway East)
- The ramp to 2nd Ave (Exit 71B)
Route 28
- All ramps at the Route 8 interchange in Etna and Sharpsburg boroughs
- All ramps at the Etna interchange in Etna Borough
- All ramps at the Millvale interchange in Millvale Borough
- All ramps at the 31st Street Bridge interchange in the City of Pittsburgh
I-79
- All ramps at the Carnegie interchange in Collier Township
Tarentum Bridge
- All ramps at the Tarentum Bridge in Tarentum Borough
Crews from Russell Standard will conduct the work.
