Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing inspection activities on Interstate 279 (Parkway North) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Tuesday and Wednesday, July 7-8 weather permitting.
Crews from Mackin Engineering and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct bridge inspection activities of the structure carrying Perrysville Avenue over I-279 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day according to the following schedule:
Tuesday, July 7
- Northbound I-279 will have single-lane restrictions between the McKnight Road/Evergreen Road (Exit 4) and the Perrysville Avenue (Exit 5) interchanges
Wednesday, July 8
- Southbound I-279 will have single-lane restrictions between the Perrysville Avenue (Exit 5) and the McKnight Road/Evergreen Road (Exit 4) interchanges
