Fort Duquesne Bridge Lower Deck Overnight Restrictions Start Next Week in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing lane restrictions on the Fort Duquesne Bridge (I-279) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will begin Monday night, March 23 weather permitting.

A single-lane restriction will occur on the inbound (lower deck) Fort Duquesne Bridge starting at the Route 65 approach ramp. Crews from Allison Park Contractors will conduct downspout removal work from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM weeknights through mid-April.
