Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing that Route 28/66 is closed between the intersections of Route 1027, Route 1018 and at the intersection with Hoover Road in Boggs Township, Armstrong County due to a crash. The roadway will remain closed until the scene is cleared.
For personal vehicles to detour travelling southbound on Route 28/66. Take Route 1016 (Calhoun School Road) to Belnap to State Route 1018 to return to Route 28. Those travelling northbound will reverse the directions. Commercial vehicles should detour using Route 861 out of New Bethlehem to Route 68 in Rimersburg to Route 422 in Butler then back to Route 28.
Drivers should avoid the area due to delays.
