Rearick Road Bridge Replacement in Young Township

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is alerting motorists to a bridge replacement project with a road closure on Rearick Road in Indiana County.

April 6 through July 29, Rearick Road will be closed between the intersections of Wertz Road and Shrokman Road for the replacement of the structure carrying Rearick Road over Blacklegs Creek.

From the southern side of the project at the intersection of Rearick Road and Shrokman Road, travel east on Rearick Road. Continue east past Weiss Road on the left to the intersection of Rearick Road and McIntyre Road. Turn left onto McIntyre Road and continue until you reach the Old Route 56 T Intersection. Turn left at the T and continue to West Lebanon then turn left onto Blacklegs Road. Continue south on Blacklegs Road, and turn left at the split intersection to return to Rearick Road to reach the northern end of the project.  From the northern side of the project, these directions will be reversed.

Francis J. Palo, Inc. of Clarion, is completing this $1.3 million bridge replacement project.
