Paint Mills Road Bridge Slated for Replacement in June

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing a bridge replacement project with a road closure on Paint Mills Road in Clarion County.

Currently, the contractor is clearing and trimming trees to prepare the work site for the anticipated closure. Traffic will be impacted by daylight flagging operations as needed. Drivers may experience some delays during daylight hours.

Paint Mills Road is anticipated to be closed June 1 through August 21, for the replacement of the Paint Mills Bridge. The closure will be between the intersections of Route 66 and route 208 with Paint Mills Road.

During the closure, drivers will detour on the northbound side of the structure by travelling Route 66 south to the intersection of Route 322. Turn right onto Route 322 west and continue to the intersection of Route 208 in Shippenville. Turn right onto Route 208 north to the intersection of Paint Mills Road and then turn right onto Paint Mills Road east to the bridge. From the southbound side, drivers will reverse the directions.

Francis J. Palo, Inc. of Clarion, is completing this $1.7 million bridge replacement project.
