Night Work on Pedestrian and Bike Bridge on Route 22 in Burrell Township, Indiana County

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today lane closures on Route 22 for the Route 22 Hoodlebug Trail Pedestrian Bridge project.

May 4 through May 8, a lane restriction will be in effect on Route 22 between the intersections of Resort Drive and the exit to Route 119 North/South 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM as crews remove overhang jacks on the bridge.

Work is weather permitting. Motorists should use caution when travelling through the work zone.

Contractor, Merlo, Inc. of Mineral Point, PA, will be completing this $4.7 million project which is estimated to be completed by mid-June 2026.
