Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing night rolling closures on Route 422 eastbound and westbound for the Graff and Infantry Bridge preservation projects in North Buffalo and Manor Townships, Armstrong County.
Traffic will be stopped by rolling closures for increments of up to 15 minutes from 8:00 PM on October 9 to 6:00 AM on October 10 as crews remove and replace beams on the bridge. Westbound traffic will be impacted from the Route 422/Route 66 interchange to the Infantry Bridge. Eastbound will be impacted from the Route 422/Route 28 interchange to the Infantry Bridge. Traffic traveling each direction on Route 66 towards Route 422 westbound will be put into a stop condition at Route 422 for up to 15 minutes.
Contractor, Swank Construction Company of New Kensington, PA will be completing this $45.6 million project anticipated to be complete at the end of October 2027.
