The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has lifted the temporary speed limit restrictions on Interstate 79, Interstate 86, and Interstate 90 in Erie County.
PennDOT is still treating roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.
Drivers are reminded to stay alert of the weather forecast as wintry conditions continue. Always allow plenty of space when driving near plow trucks. Also, for safety of drivers and the safety of plow operators, motorists should never attempt to pass a truck while it is plowing or spreading winter materials.
