King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Delaware and Montgomery counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, June 26, through Tuesday, October 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, County Line Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Saybrook Road and Route 320 (Spring Mill Road) in Radnor Township, Delaware County and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Matsonford Road, Old Gulph Road, Roberts Road, Montgomery Avenue, and Route 320 (Spring Mill Road); and
- Wednesday, July 5, through Wednesday, November 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Garrett Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Clearbrook Avenue and Lansdown Avenue in Upper Darby Township, Delaware County. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Sherbrook Boulevard, Springton Road, Marshall Road, and Lansdowne Avenue.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
