King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that core boring work will begin at night next week on westbound Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Sunday, September 24, through Friday, October 20, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, right lane closures will be in place on sections of westbound I-76 from U.S. 1 South (City Avenue) to just west of the Gladwyne exit.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
