King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that resurfacing operations are planned on Waterloo Avenue in Easttown Township, Chester County, under multiple ongoing projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highway across the Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Wednesday, April 9, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Waterloo Avenue will be closed and detoured between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Berwyn Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Berwyn Avenue, Midland Avenue, and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue).
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
