Strickler Road Bridge Spanning Route 283 in Lancaster County is Open to Traffic

​Bridge was closed last year after being damaged by vehicle strike

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that repairs to the Strickler Road (Route 4045) bridge spanning Route 283 in Rapho Township, Lancaster County, have been completed. The bridge is open to traffic. 

The bridge was closed to traffic in October 2023 due to a vehicle strike. The project to repair the bridge included replacing the bridge span over westbound Route 283.

Ryland Construction Company, Inc., of Mount Wolf, is the contractor on this $652,696 project.
