    Railroad Crossing Work Planned for Route 914 (Swamp Fox Road) in Guilford Township, Franklin County

    Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a Norfolk Southern Railway Co. contractor is scheduled to perform railroad crossing work on Route 914 (Swamp Fox Road) in Guilford Township, Franklin County. The crossing is located between 3rd Street and Archer Drive.

    Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, March 24 and be completed Friday, March 28.

    The crossing will be closed to traffic during this time. A detour will be in place using Interstate 81, Route 16 and Route 11.

    Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following local alerts on X.
