Railroad Crossing Work Planned for Route 74 (Carlisle Ave) in the City of York, York County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a York Railway Co. contractor is scheduled to perform railroad crossing work on Route 74 (Carlisle Avenue) in the City of York, York County. The crossing is located between Linden Avenue and Route 462 (W. Market Street).

Weather permitting, work will begin Friday, March 21 and be completed Tuesday, March 25.

The crossing will be closed to traffic during this time. A detour will be in place using Linden Avenue, Belvedere Avenue and W. Market Street.
