Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a pipe replacement will be performed tomorrow on River Road (Route 3030) in Manor Township, Lancaster County. The pipe is located just south of Penn Street (Route 999).

Weather permitting, River Road will be closed at the pipe at approximately 6:00 AM tomorrow, Saturday, May 6. The work is expected to be completed and the road reopened late Saturday.

A detour will be in place using Penn Street (Route 999), Central Manor Road (Route 3017), and Letort Road (Route 3032).

This is the third of four large pipe replacements that are part of a resurfacing project on River Road (Route 3030) from the intersection with Letort Road (Route 3032) to the intersection with Penn Street (Route 999).

The last replacement is tentatively scheduled for the weekend of May 19-22.

Paving is expected to continue next week on River Road. The contractor will work from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane with flaggers providing traffic control. There may be delays. This work is expected to take several weeks to complete, weather permitting.

This project is expected to be completed by June 30, 2023.
