Inspection Next Week on I-83 Bridge over Route 30 (Arsenal Road) in York County

Traffic will be restricted on Route 30.

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that there will be traffic restrictions next week on Route 30 (Arsenal Road) in York County so an inspection can be performed on the Interstate 83 bridge spanning Route 30 in Manchester Township. 

Weather permitting, an inspection will be performed Wednesday and Thursday, November 8 and 9, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the I-83 bridge spanning Route 30 in Manchester Township. There will be alternating morning right lane restrictions and afternoon left lane restrictions in the eastbound lanes of Route 30 on Wednesday, November 8, and in the westbound lanes of Route 30 on Thursday, November 9.

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the inspection crews.
