Traffic will be detoured
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge replacement project is scheduled to begin on Laudermilch Road (Route 2012) in Dauphin County. The bridge spans Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks between East Derry Road and Hershey Park Drive in Derry Township.
Weather permitting, work will begin Tuesday, November 7. The bridge will be closed and a detour will be in place using East Derry Road, Route 422, North Lingle Avenue and Hershey Park Drive.
Deblin, Inc., of Mechanicsburg is the contractor on this $10,673,551 project.
All work is expected to be completed by July 11, 2025.
